Tiles
My wife and I absolutely love the finished project....and everyone who sees it goes on and on about the
Hartstone and have to ask, what is it? Concrete isn't the response they expect. You have a beautiful and enduring product,
keep up the great work.
Bill and Nancy Pedley, St. Louis, Missouri Homeowners and Landscape Architects
What is Hartstone?
Hartstone is a 1 ¼” thick handcrafted concrete tile designed to capture the old world look and feel of ancient concrete and limestone pavers.
Like snowflakes, no two pieces are identical. Since most of our tiles are installed outside around pools, decks, patios and porches, Hartstone produces
three standard colors that not only approximate that of limestone, but also remain comfortable to bare feet even through the noon day sun and are not
slippery when wet.
Where is Hartstone Made?
We handcraft our tiles in a former underground limestone mine in Louisville, Kentucky. The near constant 56 degree temperature is a perfect environment
for slow curing concrete, resulting in the consistent quality and integrity of Hartstone products. Special formulations and the constantly low temperature
during production and curing result in a superior paving tile that will perform for generations.
**Please note that our product may contain occasional hairline fissures around the edges, which is an inherent characteristic of all concrete products.
